The only change in ranking position during the month of December is that The Woodlands Marathon bypassed The Gusher Marathon (Beaumont) by adding 135 additional followers in December compared to the Gusher's gain of 58.

The events adding the most number of new Facebook followers (roughly) in the month of December were 1.) Dallas Marathon - 676, 2.) The Cowtown Marathon - 285, 3.) Chevron Houston Marathon - 270, 4.) Scott & White Healthcare BCS Marathon - 244 and 5.) Austin Marathon & Half Marathon - 231.

The largest increases by percentages in December were as follows:  1.) Fiesta Marathon - 39.1%, 2.) Irving Las Colinas Marathon - 18.7%, 3.) New Year's Double (Allen) - 8.4%, 4.) Mellew Production Events (Dallas) - 6.2% and 5.) Dallas Marathon - 5.6%
